The thought to establish a Girls' college got wings in the beginning of eighties when all the members of Shri Jain Swetamber Terpanthi Shiksha Samiti agreed to the requirement of promoting higher education amongst the girls in the city. It has certainly brought about a positive & qualitative change in this field and today is a name to reckon with in the state capital. The College since its inception has been doing a yeoman service in the field of Women Empowerment through education. The management has gone a step further on the road map founded by the founder members of the Samiti in the form of providing education to the Girls right from pre- primary levels to higher studies at the same complex through the group of schools and college being run under its umbrella.
